How Does It Work?
You, the Credit Union, sponsor a CU View site for your community, school, or college. It is a "safe" environment where the students can post pictures and videos of their sporting events, drama productions, audio and MP3s of their band concerts, fun times, and so on. You get the credit and branding and a "soft" marketing presence - complete with links to educational material, financial literacy videos, and your logo on the videos.
The students can then vote for each other, send videos to friends, write blog entries, update their profile pages, and post multimedia files, all the while earning points for their participation. Prizes given out periodically to the most active users are like rocket fuel for traffic and participation. The combination of video, social networking, and the points rewards system is very powerful.
